You Already Have Kids...

Homeschooling, Pizza Hut, apartments, garbage and more. Our family life involves many different paths each and everyday. Our children: Liam (6), Natalie (5), Rebekah (4) are engineers, mommys, tea party hostesses, builders, entrepreneurs and inventors. Most importantly, they are not only siblings but they are best friends.
There has been a dream in our family since the beginning of our marriage to have no less than 8 children (all boys, maybe one girl). Imaging a large family has been a constant thought in our minds since before Liam's pregnancy announcement.
Eight years later and though, yes, we have the best children in the world, we want more! We both love the excitement, the love of learning, the way they teach us as adults, the laughter, the imagination, and just the blessing that each individual personality makes our family.
After Rebekah's birth it was expressed to us that having children of our own is a health risk to not only to any future children, but also to my physical being. Though taking this into deep consideration we were able to conceive two times after Rebekah. However, much to our disappointment and sadness we lost both pregnancies to miscarriages.
Pondering and praying and forcing ourselves to believe that we are done having children has always had an unsettling thought in both Patrick's and my minds. Our children, (without prompting) continuously ask, "Mommy, when are you going to have another baby?" Liam says, "I want to have someone sleep in my room." And Rebekah, usually has a baby in her belly.
About a year and half ago Patrick and I started really seeking the adoption road, however financially, and not wrong timing in God's eyes, we put the process on pause. After this Christmas I realized, that YES! I really do want more children, I REALLY DO!!! With God's blessing, we begin our journey...
